Maintenance Department Overview
The Maintenance staff consist of 5 full-time employees. The department is responsible for snow plowing, street sweeping, and maintaining the nearly 30 miles of township roads, grounds maintenance of approximately 190 acres of township facilities (the Township Campus, Cheetah Park, Stormwater Management facilities, and Township owned easements), the repair maintenance and cleaning of the street storm sewer system, the general building maintenance of the Township campus and weekly system checks of the Allwood Manor and Chapel View Pumping Stations. The Department responds to sewer discharges, weather emergencies and provides assistance regarding situations such as road closures for natural or man-made occurrences within the Township.
